Craig Johnson catches the spirit of the west in his books. And who doesn't love cowboy hero sheriff, Walt Longmire!

All of books are great,,, the sheriff has great moral character. Such a treat to read .

Another great book by a talented guy who knows how write to keep you in the mood of the situation. Almost feels like you are there with Walt.

Craig Johnson nails it again with a good literary work of art, an absorbing story, and a creative way of bringing the two together. Well done!

My favorite Longmire book so far, but I don't think a meadowlark would ever be seen sitting on a sign in front of a hospital in town.

Craig Johnson combines wit, humor, cowboy common sense and good triumphs over evil in every one of his books. They just keep getting better. His character development is wonderful. Can't wait to read the next book in this series!
