I think the words I am looking for are: "pretty dumb". It's an insult to anyone who has any knowledge of the military. This book is basically nothing more than hackneyed, pompous dialogue, non-stop, annoying banter and a confusing and incomplete story line coupled by truly ridiculous (lame) scenarios. Plus has this guy ever actually met and talked to a woman? If you need to find a way to waste time this may be it, but you will find yourself skipping through much of the unrealistic story line. This is really not a good book. Bought it to pass the time on a long plane ride and should have just slept instead. I wish I could forget the whole thing.

I am a long time fan of Griffin. I am a 12 year U.S.M.C. Vet. I have read nearly all the books from all of his series. With all that being said, this series of stories are by far his best work. Once again, Mr. Griffin has taken me on ride that once on it, you don't want to get off. Thanks for the ride.
