Hazel Parkes is a pastry chef that specializes in baking magical macarons. She enjoys adding magic and emotions to her baking. Hazel is invited to teach a class on magical infused baking at the chef school run by Chef DeRossi. Hazel idolizes Chef DeRossi. She has looked up to his baking for over ten years. She cannot believe they want her to do a baking demonstration at the school. When Hazel arrives at the school she meets Antonio who is the sous chef to Chef DeRossi. Antonio is Hazel’s assistant for her demonstration. Unbeknownst to Hazel, Antonio is Chef DeRossi’s son. They work very well together. What will happen when Hazel finds out who Antonio’s father is? Antonio visits Hazel after the demonstration and asks her out on a date. Whenever they are together it feels like they have been together for years. They fit well together. They have an undeniable attraction to each other. Their courtship is very sweet. This is the second book in the Broomstick Bakery series. The book flows and is easy to read. The characters are whimsical and wonderful. This was an enjoyable story to read. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

I enjoyed reading this book. Although it isn’t necessary to read the 1st book 1st, I enjoyed the references to some of the events and seeing the characters from the 1st book, as well as the other series in this world. The setup was adorable and the plot was light and fun. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I love how engaging these stories are and how they seem to fly by as if 16 chapters with an epilogue takes no time to read at all. The feel good vibe alone makes me want to hug myself. Youngest Parke’s sister Hazel has been tasked with teaching a pastry demonstration at her former alumn. Nervous yet eager she relies on the quiet strength of Chef DeRossi’s sous chef Antonio to guide her through her presentation. Of course these two have a connection and some missed communication that emphasizes any good story. However with a good feel vibe this series portrays, Hazel and Antonio learn valuable lessons. As book 2 in the series this does act as a standalone and not imperative to be read in order. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Hazel enjoys making her magical pastries, but the chance to teach others, at the school where she studied, if only for one day, opens the door to new thoughts and opportunities. Antonio is used to helping out his Dad, and being seen in that context. He's dazzled by the talented witch who sees HIM, talks with and listens to him, and understands his desire to do more than just his current job. This done in one story stands solidly on its own, and tells a beautiful story about family, about doing what you enjoy and love - and still wanting to learn more and try new things. I was gifted with a copy of Macaron Witch and chose to share my thoughts.

Hazel has been invited by her culinary school to teach a class on how to infuse magic into your baking. As she and her sisters run a very successful bakery doing just that she’s a natural choice. On the day of the class she meets her idol Chef DeRossi and the head of the school who invited her and a young chef Antonio who will be her helper for the demonstration of her speciality macarons. Despite some understandable nerves the class goes quite well. Antonio comes by the bakery and a deal is struck Hazel will teach him more about magic in pastry if Antonio will trade a secret for a secret. Sparks fly as the two meet and talk food and overprotective sisters urge her to use caution so she doesn’t get hurt. Sisterly intuition proves right when Chef DeRossi offers Hazel a teaching job at his school on the information he’s gathered from his son who Hazel realizes is the Antonio she’s been seeing. What could be a possible disaster turns into a hea for the two pastry chefs. A sweet romance figuratively and literally. The complete story of Hazel and Antonio. Who would think a cooking demonstration would turn into so much more. Love the cameos by Willow and Azíl. Love the creative take on a magical and bake shop romance story. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a cute story about two chefs falling in love. Hazel and Antonio’s story is a very slow burning clean romance perfect for a holiday pick-me-up. It was a good addition to the series. I received a free copy of this book, and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Hazel comes across sweet as her signature macaroons. I liked the many sides to her that we got to see and I really enjoyed learning how she does her magic baking. Antonio was a perfect combination of sweet, caring, but not a pushover. Learning his quirks was fun. I loved their interactions together and how they handled some sticky situations. I’m having a lot of fun at the Broomstick Bakery and I can’t wait to read more about the sisters and their brother. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
