Description

The Reid family is back and this time it's Jane's turn to find her happily ever after. We first met Jane in the Indelible Love series where she and Max Davis, appeared to be on their way to finding love. As we all know, love is no easy four letter word, but with the help of Jake and Emily, along with the rest of the Reid clan, life becomes a bit more fun. Here is Jane herself, taking center stage, describing her very personal story.

Hi! I'm Jane Reid, age 27, and this is my story. I've chosen to give you details of my life in a blog format - which means, no daily minutiae, just the good stuff. I'm currently dating Max Davis, same age as me, med-student, all around good guy, and my sister-in-law's ex-boyfriend. Sound complicated? You ain't read nothin' yet. If you think that's complicated, let me tell you about a few other "complications" in my life. I'm slightly (okay...more than slightly) attracted to Donovan Taylor, my childhood crush. Did I mention Donovan looks like Henry Cavill? My boyfriend has a med-student stalker in his life and a high school ex who was a lot more than just a high school ex! Max and I are always at odds with one another for who knows what reason, and there are more days of angst than bliss. Luckily, we have plenty of supportive family members and friends who help us along the way. Who will I end up with? What twists and turns are waiting for me on the next page? You will have to tune in and read all about it. Feel free to let me know what you think about my life and how you think I can fix it / improve upon it. Ttyl!

What is up with these glowing reviews? The story development is slow and boring. The style is to narrate from each characters viewpoint but also to try to reveal everything in dialogue. This translates to long actual paragraphs of dialogue. Not effective and not worth it to trudge through

So after spending many hours grinding through this book I come to a cliff hanger. After reading all the positive, glowing reviews and seeing not one mention of this abrupt ending I was shocked. If I want to know what happens I have to spend $3.99. If I knew going in I wouldn't be so upset. I would have downloaded a sample, and decided not to purchase it, because this story just isn't written that well. The blog format is weirdly disjointed and difficult to follow. The author acts like you know the 50 shades of grey books so well you have them memorized. She introduces so many characters you start losing track of them all. there are cousins, best friends, old girl friends, mothers, fathers and brothers and sisters of ancillary characters, it's a bit overwhelming. Not to mention the brother and sister-in-law and their twins and the gram and gimpy, she is so concerned with all these side characters that the main characters suffer. Save yourself some time and frustration and skip this one.

Staying with the theme of intense, messy and passionate romances, I have to call out D.W. Cee. She does a masterful job of intertwining the lives of the many characters in their stories. D.W. Cee writes Indelible Love -Emily's Story , Jake's Story and Indelible Lovin - Max & Jane's Story. I just love these characters who range from twenties to eighties are all part of a family and extended friends. At different points I just want to kill some of them. Before I know it I am mad or smiling or hurt or laughing. And the author does a great blog continuing the stories between book publishing. I am so sucked in I can't wait until each new post comes out. Just a great read or at least I think so. Happy reading!
