Description

An all-new Mac & Barrons story by #1 New York Times bestselling author Karen Marie Moning, marvelously adapted into a full-color graphic novel by writer David Lawrence and illustrator Al Rio

In Fever Moon, we meet the most ancient and deadly Unseelie ever created, the Fear Dorcha. For eons, he’s traveled worlds with the Unseelie king, leaving behind him a path of mutilation and destruction. Now he’s hunting Dublin, and no one Mac loves is safe.

Dublin is a war zone. The walls between humans and Fae are down. A third of the world’s population is dead and chaos reigns. Imprisoned over half a million years ago, the Unseelie are free and each one Mac meets is worse than the last. Human weapons don’t stand a chance against them.

With a blood moon hanging low over the city, something dark and sinister begins to hunt the streets of Temple Bar, choosing its victims by targeting those closest to Mac. Armed only with the Spear of Destiny and Jericho Barrons, she must face her most terrifying enemy yet.

I love Karen Marie Moning and the Fever series, so I was excited to see my favorite, and not so favorite, characters come to life.

I love the series, but this graphic novel cheapened the characters. I never thought Mac had porn star dreams and every character depicted looked like one! Even Dani! I was less than impressed and hope this won't be the direction this series is going in. Ever!
  • Not what I expected & a bit disappointing

I stumbled upon KMM and her Fever series while browsing and after reading the first novel-I was hooked! I was looking excitedly forward to the next installment in the series, and when I read the synopsis for Fever Moon, it lead me to believe that it would be a continuation from the last book. The spin of the story was quaint & i do enjoy graphic novels but it really wasn't worth what I paid for it. I still feel like I'm left wanting to know what happens next with MacKayla & Barrons. I will read ICED but based upon the synopsis I've read, it just seems like another version of the story that's already been told.

This is a graphic novel, not a full novel. The artwork is absolutely amazing! I loved KMM's stuff and this is no exception. If you want a visual treat with some great action, check it out!

That was very disappointing. I wish I would have spent my money on an actual book instead of a comic book with a repeat of the same story.
  • Not long enough

As a die hard fan of KMM, this was an amazing full color treat! Wow! Just wow! I tore through this on my iPad in record time. I loved it! Worth every penny and more! This is like a short story set in the Fever world with pics of the characters we love (and love to hate)! Another gem I will own digitally and I'm about to order a hard copy too. Ahhhhhh, the beautiful creativity of Ms. Moning in pictures...... it's like Christmas in July.

Pros: fun, cool seeing my characters Depicted, good story. Cons: dialogue was very short, as was the story. I was hoping to continue the main series a bit, but it takes place in the middle of the last book. I guess I'll have to wait for iced.
