Description

A Cupid and Psyche retelling, with a little extra spice.

When Psyche convinces Cupid to protect college softball pitcher Ellie Beaufort from the other gods, who want to kill her because of a prophecy, he agrees to hide her in his castle. But when his brothers, Phobos and Deimos, discover his secret, he has no choice but to shoot them with his arrows of love.

Trapped in a magical castle for six weeks with two gorgeous gods who want nothing more than to love and protect her, Ellie finds herself falling for them both. Phobos and Deimos may be identical ginger twins, but their personalities are vastly different, surprising her in delightful ways. If they succeed in finding a way to be together, against all odds, which will she choose?

Or do the gods have other plans for her?

This was an incredibly sweet story. It is well written and the characters were beautifully developed. I loved how the Greek Gods are used throughout the story. It is a story that has beautiful and vivid descriptions. These descriptions are easily able to be pictured. The chemistry can be felt throughout the story between Ellie, Phobos, and Deimos. It is definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.

This book was amazing. It started off a little bit slow but got going really quick. I loved Ellie she was really brought to life in this book. It was great to see a love story between her, Fear, and Panic. The spin that explains the more in-depth role of those two gods was really interesting and added a lot of depth to the characters. Thankfully it didn’t fully end in a cliffhanger. Definitely can’t wait to read the next one. I’m super excited to see how working at the horse farm with no powers works out for the gods.
  • A slightly more mature side to Eva Pohler

This book is an entry to a series! It’s all about story building. It’s a bit mature in places so beware if you expect it to be like her Gatekeepers Sons series( Love that one too!!) it’s slightly more mature! It took me a couple chapters to really get into it but the adventure started and now I’m looking forward to book 2!!

This book is amazing! Where do I even start? First I didn’t realize how much I had forgotten or didn’t know about Greek mythology and Greek gods. If you are like me I love to learn and enjoy a great story at the same time - Eva’s writing is so poetic once I started it I could not put it down!!! I fell in love with the characters immediately. Ellie is funny smart and down to earth (literally lol) also she attends my favorite college FSU!! But the best is relearning about these Gods that I had surely forgotten a lot about. Eva brings them to light in a way that’s not only fun and sexy but educational as well! This is a must read book!!! If you love Greek gods you must read this book it will change the way you see them and if you were like me and have forgotten a lot of them it’s also an education with a wonderful storyline !!! I feel like I’m there experiencing Ellie’s feelings and confusion along with her. I love the fact that Cupid is so much more than just a God shooting arrows at people. Eva makes these Gods more than just myth and I can’t get enough!! I can’t wait to read the second book and the third book in the series. I want more and you will too!!!! This is a book I recommend to everyone I know!
