Description

Three unlikely friends do everything in their power to stop a war that's killing thousands.

When seventeen-year-old Gertie leaves New York to study abroad in Athens, she learns that vampires and demigods are real and unwittingly becomes a catalyst to an uprising led by Dionysus, lord of the vampires.

In this final installment, Gertie, Jeno, and Hector struggle to bring a peaceful resolution to the war in Athens, but any success they make comes at great cost. How many more people must die for freedom and justice? The teens quickly learn that nothing is fair in love and war. Sometimes even love requires a terrible price.

Great Final Book to an original thought out series. The book starts where the 2nd one left off. Gertrude Morgan is trying to find a way to save Athens vampires from being destroyed. The book is exciting, adventurous and a page turner. Gertrude so far in the series has been very hard on herself and depended on other people to fight her battles and guide her life. This book she grows into her own and it makes me love this series even more. Definitely a series I can let my young teenage daughters read as there isn't any sexual scenes like most vampire series have nowadays. This series will keep you thinking and make you think of Greek mythology, vampires and history in a new, creative way. I received an advance readers copy for an honest review.
