    I enjoyed this new story in the "Fierce Mates: Dark Pines Pride" series. It's a fairly quick paranormal read that is nicely developed and well written. I really like the characters and their chemistry. I really like Eleanor and Will's story. It's a good second chance that is sweet and entertaining with danger and intrigue.

    This is the 4th book I've read written by Liza Street; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books. The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book. I loved the chemistry between the characters.     Loved this paranormal romance with hot alpha males and strong women. Eleanor misses the love of her life and is upset he’s been gone so long. She doesn’t want to give him another chance to break her heart but also fees like she can’t let go. Will he’s trying to protect Eleanor but knows she’s his mate but he must make a decision to help the pride take back what was taken and possibly hurt Eleanor or let her go.     This was a good read. The storyline was interesting and full of action and adventure. The characters are exciting. If you love a great romance adventure then this story is for you.

    While part of a series it also can be a stand alone book, which is how I read it. It explained the relationships and the events of the other book well enough to understand the plot without reading the previous book. It slowly over the course of the book revealed the history between Eleanor and Will. I loved how Eleanor gained group of girlfriends from Will's family and even when she was unsure of Will they supported her. The final chapter wrapped it up with a sweet HEA and epilogue with a flash forward would have been nice though there is a novella that is after this book. Will is back and he and his family do have secrets. The story is interesting and engaging with well developed, lovable characters. Good read!     I LOVED this story! I am a total sucker for second-chance romances. Will and Ellie shared a history, and each time a new snippet of it was revealed, I rooted for them even more. I especially loved the little flashbacks, namely the one with the squirt guns. Will is definitely my favorite in the series. Talk about tortured and brooding; this guy had it in spades. And I got the biggest kick out of Ellie and her app. I was very tempted to search for one similar. Lol! Catching up with the others from this series was great too! I was glad to see that Hayley had expanded on her...colorful (and hilarious)...vernacular ;) I just love reading these mountain lions!!! (I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)
