    Once I started reading, I could not put this one down. It has just enough drama and action mixed with a sweet romance. Meeting by chance online , leading to an online friendship to meeting IRL. Highly recommend and I cannot wait to read the rest of this series!

    Wild Homecoming is book 1 of Liza Street's Fierce Mates: Dark Pines Pride series and is Jackson’s and Summers story - a paranormal romance with some suspense. Jackson is a Mountain lion shifter who’s traveling with his siblings after their parents were killed by another clan on their territory. Summer been betrayed by an ex not only who stole her money and identity but was racking up the credit card debt in her name. This is how they met and overcome all the various obstacles in their way to be together. The story is engaging and the characters well developed. I will definitely read other books in this series to see what Jackson’s siblings, his brother (Will), and sister (Hayley) are doing.

    Setting up a new series we get a lot of information in this book. I like that these shifters live in the real world. Jackson is a Social Media Manager, his brother a Graphic Artist. Shifters are hiding in plain sight, humans none the wiser. Fated mates are still in the mythology. This story has a slightly sad tone but Jackson's optimism and determination make it so hopeful. An easy read we are sucked into this tale of redemption and renewal.

    A perfectly-sized story full of hope, love and mystery! Jackson suffered a tragedy in his past which gave him a little bit of an "I'm not worthy" complex. I enjoyed reading how he worked through that, and I thought it was endearing. That is, until he met Summer. I loved reading how just her being her quirky self gave Jackson a reason to want to be a better man. Er, mountain lion. Shifter. And THEN, Liza throws in some very suspicious happenings, and Jackson doesn't hesitate to stand up and be the protector he never knew he was. I am VERY interested to read Jackson's older brother, Will's book. He REALLY seems like that dark, brooding no-nonsense type...my favorite! I'm so excited for more of these books! (I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)
