I’ve been reading all the books in this series. This one is on a league of its own. How grief is felt and interpreted in each’s own way. Moving forward is it’s own challenge. Great storytelling, emotions on edge, the passion and chemistry of Sutton and David just wow. It leaves off on an earth shattering cliffhanger. I can’t wait to read the next book as soon as I finish this review. I highly recommend this book and this series.

I’m not even sure how to begin! This book was everything! It was absolutely everything I wanted coming into this one. My heart was broken for Sutton and David at the end of The Wright Love. I knew Linde would put it back together in this one but I wasn’t sure exactly how it would happen. These characters have been through so much together and separately. It was such a rollarcoaster of feelings throughout this series. Let me just say I am more than thrilled with how this book ended! I am going to miss these two as well as the whole Wright crew. Bravo Linde Bravo!

I've been anxiously waiting for this book since finishing The Wright Love a couple weeks ago! And it did not disappoint. We pick up pretty much where we left off after everyone finds out a pretty hefty secret. Sutton is not handling it well, which is to be expected. Again, this is a total up and down roller coaster of emotions! Sad, happy, angry, sad, happy, angry, sad, and then finally soooooo happy! So many emotions. We get a lot more backstory on David in this book. I wasn’t sure if there was any coming back from what happened in The Wright Love, but man, he came back with a vengeance! I love him. And I love him and Sutton together. There were a lot of surprises in this book. Like who ended up being the voice of reason. Didn't see that one coming. At. All. This story was tied up with a perfect pretty little bow. And I may have shed a tear or two over the fact that this series is over. I feel like a member of this family now and I don’t want to say goodbye yet. A perfect ending to a fantastic series. I’d highly recommend reading all the books.

This book. I knew it was going to gut me. I was prepared for the emotional ride of getting Sutton’s story. What I wasn’t prepared for was the happiness that some of these pages exuded from her. She went from this shell of a character the past few books, to this fun, bright character we’d grown to love. David was perfect for her. He never pressured her, and was always there for her no matter what. This book was phenomenal, and that ending?! I need The Wright One ASAP!!! You all need to grab this book.

Ever lost someone you loved? A spouse, a friend, a family member? Ever wondered if after their passing your life would be yours again? Your grief felt endless? When Sutton Wright experiences a loss that puts her perfect life to a screeching halt, she is left with all those thoughts. David has been there. For an entire year. Helping Sutton with her young son. Helping her become open to love again. He knew he loved her but he wanted her to feel safe with him. He wanted her to trust in him and what he was feeling. Thennnnn of course in true Linde fashion the whammy comes. And UMMMMMM its DEF one I didn’t see coming! Read this book. Go on Sutton and David’s journey! See what the other Wright family members are up to as well!! I can’t want for part 2 of this story!

4.5 stars for - Wright Love - book one of the Wright Love duet / book five overall of the Wright series by K.A. Linde. This book can be read as a complete stand-alone but the series is highly enjoyable and it’s one I recommend all the time. Once again we are back in Lubbock, Texas where the Wright family has stood by for the last year and helped however they could as the youngest sibling grieved the loss of her spouse. Sutton Wright fell head over heels for Maverick while still in college. Getting pregnant and married before even turning twenty-one wasn’t planned but she loved her little family beyond words. Watching as her husband collapsed in front of her from an unknown heart condition felt like her own heart stopped beating and like it would never mend again. Over time with the help of all her friends and family things started to look a little less bleak and one person in particular has always been there when she needed him most. David Calloway took over as the CFO of Wright Construction when Morgan moved up to take Jensen’s place. In the last year he has become an honorary member of the Wright family and by some odd twist of fate he was there the day Maverick Wright died and has been there every day since whether to help with Jason or be a shoulder to cry on for Sutton. While he has always found her beyond beautiful, helping her heal has been his only priority but now that he sees her coming out of her shell more and more he’s hoping she might give him a real chance beyond the friend zone. This was an emotional, angsty roller coaster ride that leaves you wanting so much more. I can’t wait to see where part two takes us since that cliffhanger in part one left me with my jaw on the floor!!!

5 heart-wrenching stars. Back last year, I message Kyla and begged for a Sutton story. I mean talk about being gutter. The marathon where hubs died was tooooo heartbreaking. My level of angst when starting this book was through the roof. First. You have Sutton. Who we’ve followed as a sub-character in every single Wright sibling books!!! Then At the end of ‘Mistake’ we meet David. Who seems awesome. During ‘Secret’ we see the shell that Sutton becomes and can only hope that her future gets better and maybe includes David. Now we are up to the ‘Love’. Oh my gosh. Love Love Love describes this. I loved the struggle Sutton dealt with and how Kyla portrayed moving on when a spouse or partner dies, very unexpectedly. The devotion the hero shows. The understanding he has of her feelings and where she’s at is profoundly touching I lived and breathed this until I finished it. Stop lights. Waiting rooms. Checkout lines. I read it in less than a day and am crushed wait by for the ‘one’. This is a duet and doesn’t end well. High, high hopes for the next ‘one’. Ba dump bump *chuckles* Sutton deals with still loving her deceased husband but wants to move on. There is a huge twist in here I never saw coming. I blame ‘joel’ as Kyla posted on her fb page. :) I highly, highly recommend this book. And while it could be read as a stand-alone I wouldn’t. Start with the first Wright brother and embrace this family. They flipping rock. Heat: high Sexy times: high Angst: medium To high Cliffhanger: yeah

  • Sutton’s story is my favorite

Ok ok ok. So we all know I am a huge K.A. Linde fan. And yes with every book she writes, I always say it’s the best ever. But seriously, it really is the best. With every book, the stories get better and better. The Wright Love is no different than that. It is the best. I have loved all the Wright books but if I had to pick one story, Sutton’s story would be my favorite. Sutton is a young widow raising a toddler. She’s had a rough year since the untimely death of her husband. Sutton is finally ready to start living again. What she didn’t anticipate was David. David took over CFO when Morgan took the CEO position. For the past year he has gotten to know the Wright family. He has also helped Sutton with babysitting her son Jason. He gotten to know Sutton and has understood and given her all the time she has needed. Their friendship is effortless. They get along great without any pressure of taking things further. This is what startles Sutton when she finds herself in David’s arms. This book got me. Like, had my heart breaking, had me smiling, and made my jaw drop. Now, yes, it ends an a bit of a cliffhanger but don’t worry. Book two of Sutton story will be out soon. So don’t get too worked up. Can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.
