  • My favorite Romance Novel

This has always been my favorite. I go back to it time and time again. I’ve read it many times over the years. What else do you need? This time around reading it, was the first time I read it Since I got engaged, and Richard is a lot like my Fiancé. A little more dark and brooding, but very similar. Richard really took the time to understand her! And through everything he was always honest and loyal. He could make her laugh and he could make her c_m. So I guess I’m glad for this book to remind me what I really wanted, and manifesting is apparently possible.

I’m loving Grace Callaway’s books. Her characters are so vulnerable it makes me get into the story better. Honestly I can’t quit reading them. I’ve read 4 in 3 days. Gotta love books that make you want to read like that.

I’ve been hooked on the series since The Duke who Knew too much. The Kents and their stories are thrilling!

Loved this installment just as much as the others! Grace has such a way to make each Kent an individual, despite the large family. I made the mistake of reading the reviews before the book so I was expecting a “childish” Violet, however her innocence is refreshing! She has such a positive will live life to the fullest and that aspect was definitely appreciated. I connected with this one a lot because I have my own Carlisle to love life with. I can’t wait to read Polly’s story.
  • Disappointing

This book was so drawn out I had trouble finishing it. Worse than that, the way Violet spoke was ridiculous to me. I kept picturing her as a child throughout the entire book, that’s not ideal for this type of book. Did she not learn any mature curse words growing up? I really liked the first book I read of yours, so I plan to try another, but lord I hope there’s not another character made to speak like Violet was.
  • My cup of tea!

This book, The Viscount Always Knocks Twice, and the other books I've read in the series, is the epitome of the type of books I love to read! Mystery, Victorian England and a little bit of naughty thrown in for good measure...what more could a girl ask for? Brava😘

I won't tell a lie, I love a hot, sizzling romance. I was not disappointed! Violet and Richard's story was funny, intriguing, romantic with plenty of steam! Grace Callaway is one of my favorite authors. I like that her heroines are spirited with plenty of backbone, and her heroes are wounded in some way though strong with plenty of hotness thrown in!
