They come to church in imported handmade suits creased on the soft leather seats of their latest fuel guzzlers that any equally flashy member of a powerful political wing of a senate or parliament would break a bank to own. Their expensive colognes waft luxuriant scents on the pulpit where jewelry from gold and ruby chains to diamond rings are just a peek into what ‘prosperity gospel’ means in manifest opulence.Along with many others you could have given money, gone to meetings, called in front for a prayer, laid hands on only to be pushed down and told it is God’s power. You and your friends or family have been lied to, caught up in these false teachings and devastated. Then you look back and realize that the ones that truly are out in the fields spreading the Gospel are our missionaries, the ones you know or have heard of, the men and women who are in the gospel battle front. We have been all called to help the poor in spirit, not feed men's appetites for greed of worldly wealth. Look at the women and men who have set up castles for themselves in the name of prosperity right in the cities where they hoard millions given to them by unsuspecting Christians. Many are hurting, they are hungry and poor, yet the “shepherds” are gathering the money from these poor souls into their own banks accounts and storehouse. They are an abomination, and so many of us have helped them reach the level of their apostasy.
