This is the first time I have read this author. Loved the first books but this one was unrealistic. Why would you stop at a carnival on the way back from DC, after being shot at and almost dying? Then Dr. Graves father shows up at the same carnival they just randomly decided to stop at. There was so much talk of sex, at the strangest times. Like, when the FBI agent and Wolfe got shot at Jack’s house. Why would that be an appropriate time to make sexual innuendos. Oh, and some parts of the book was a cut and paste from the other books. I remembered reading the same exact words in the other book. I don’t think I will be continuing with this author. Readers are not stupid, we notice a lot!

I like the character and the storyline, but I’m not a fan of the price prebook. $6.99 for 350 pages is a rip-off. I would’ve bought the whole series no questions asked at half the price.
