Description

Marnie Whitlock has never known what it’s like to be normal. Her ability to see the future and people’s innermost thoughts makes her an outcast—feared—loathed. Even by her own parents. And her father is determined to beat the curse out of her. Her only chance for survival is to escape Surrender.

Beckett Hamilton has loved Marnie since they were kids, but one horrible night destroyed any future he’d hoped for. Now Marnie was back in Surrender, and picking up where they left off is the only thing on his mind. He finds out quickly that some hearts take longer to heal, and not everyone that’s broken can be fixed. But loving Marnie isn’t an option—it’s his destiny.

Another great chapter in the Surrender, Montana series!!! Can't wait to read the next ones by her friends and then of course Shane's story! This one was great start to finish and shows that even if you weren't born a Mackenzie they still take care of their own!!

When it comes to opening up one of the MacKenzie books it's like coming home. Trouble Maker was in true Liliana Hart form. She has a way of running your emotions through the gauntlets and I loved it!

Beckett and Marnie are an amazing pair of people. Beckett has lived a relatively privileged life, but was raised right. He works hard does what needs to be done. It is so rare to see that in people today! Marnie was raised in hell. No other way to put it. The thing about a Liliana Hart book is that you cannot wait to see what happens, but you want more of everything. Even the bad stuff if it means you get to spend more time with the characters. Liliana has an amazing ability to create characters that are real people. They are not glorified and made to be perfect, they are just people doing the best they can with what they have. The connections created between the characters is so powerful you can feel what they feel. I find myself able to relate to one of the main characters and dive into that world every single time. I half expect to be able to go to Surrender and visit them! I also love that I don’t HAVE to have read the other books to enjoy any one of the novels. It is an awful lot of fun to read them in order, though and watch the characters grow and develop even farther. *I was given an advanced copy for review.
