More on the Champagne Sisterhood

Since freshman year of college, Anna, Kat, Erin and Barbara’s friendship has survived time and distance. A successful executive for one of New York’s oldest department stores, Anna is engaged to an up-and-coming politician from an affluent old school family and living the life she always dreamed of.

Told her that her friend has been in a car crash, nothing else matters except getting to San Francisco. Even if it's on the wing of the airplane.

Forced to face the unthinkable, Anna promises to keep her goddaughter safe, a baby who doesn't want to be anywhere near her. Learning to care for a baby who can't stand the sight of her is only the beginning of Anna's challenges.

When mysterious events sabotage her efforts at work and ghosts from the past threaten to stop Anna from keeping her promises, she must make a choice between dreams and friendship. But can Anna and the Champagne Sisterhood unravel the truth behind secrets never meant to be shared in time to save everything she holds dear?

More about the Author

Love of a good story and frustration with the end of a bestselling author's novel, drove Chris to pen her own works of fiction and romance.

With several novels under her belt, it was yet another best seller's depiction of a broken childhood friendship that spurred Chris to tackle a story of long-lasting friends and a sisterhood of the heart. From New York to San Francisco, the award winning novel The Champagne Sisterhood is Chris' salute to what girl-power and true friendship is all about. Just the right touch of drama and suspense makes Champagne Sisterhood a "can't put down" read. And of course, no matter the obstacles, Chris always delivers a happy ever after.

The Champagne Sisterhood captured my interest early and I didn't want to put it down. I can relate to the characters as my brother and sister have had their own groups of friends since high school that fly across country to help in emergencies. I loved the way Anna just stepped up to help even when she was way out of her comfort zone. Add the heat and the sub-plots on both coasts and you have a must read. I loved it!
