Whispers of Ruin (The Shadow Realms, Book 10)

I absolutely love this book. There are new scary characters. Eeekkkk And like I said, I have a new book boyfriend. Brokk! Yummy. Little jealous of Kaylia. But it’s fine. The story draws you in from the first page. And never let’s go, until the end. I know I’ll have nightmares for a while, which is what a great character driven book does. I can’t highly recommend this book to everyone.

Wow! This book kept me on the edge of my seat thru the entire book. I was drawn in on page 1. Had it read in lass within 2 days. I was kept on an emotional roller coaster with lots of suspense. Love, love, love the book and cannot wait for the next one!!

Completely gripped from page one, I was deeply immersed in this adventure! The world building is so detailed that you feel like you’re on this journey along with the main characters. I had been hoping Brokk would get his story and Davies did not disappoint! I love a good enemies to lovers and I absolutely cannot wait for when Brokk tears down Kaylia’s walls! Their chemistry is going to be off the charts. The tension between them is highly combustible and will definitely result in a big bang! Literally and figuratively! IYKYK

Whispers of Ruin is the start of Brokk and Kaylie’s story. In this series they’re on the hunt for the crudue vine they knew it was a dangerous mission but had no choice they have to figure out a way to save Lexi. They encounter so many dangerous creatures they know if they leave that it could cause doom for everyone. Lexi would be gone and Cole would lost control over the shadows and they can not let that happen. While on their search they continue to grow closer Kaylia is closed off after losing her first love she never wanted to open herself up again but there’s just something about Brokk that keeps drawing her in. Will they find the crudue vine or will the dangers get them first? This is a must read!! I could not put it down I promise you will not be disappointed! Make sure if you haven’t read the series to start with Shadow of Fire!

So exciting as Brenda catapults us into another amazing realm. This time, we follow Brokk and Kaylia as they navigate the Doomed Valley. Kaylia carries so much pain on the inside, while Brokk fights his own demons. Both are them are strong willed and determined. The new creatures we are introduced to, try to keep the two from their quest of finding the Crudue Vine that will help Lexi. With so many enemies coming from so many directions, the two must rely on some newfound friends. I’m looking forward the next book in this amazing series.

This series just keeps getting better and better for sure. Now with Kaylia and Brokk’s adventure into the wild and unknown. I did a lot of gasping and squeaking and possibly even holding my breath through a lot of this book. These 2 get into so much trouble at times and then come out beaten and bruised or sometimes a little worse, but they are determined to save Lexi. Another epic read!

I don’t know how Brenda comes up with these amazing stories but I am on the edge of my seat and impatiently waiting for the next book in this series. If you have not read this series you are seriously missing out!
