This book is one of the best in the Alliance series. I recommend reading The Vampire Awakening Series as well first. Willow is one of a bazillion (alight exaggerations) pure bred vampire children in the Bryne family. The Alliance ancient pure-bred vampires that are like the vampire police. Declan and his lollipops and his abilities are enthralling and amazing. Willow is lost in a mission being chased by savage vampires and Declan goes to find her because he can’t lose her although he doesn’t know why yet. The merry chase in this Brenda leads you down will be worth every moment. Happy reading.
