Description

Can the Griffin Sanctuary take on more mythical animals?

All of Charlotte's previous experience working as an apprentice veterinarian at the Griffin Sanctuary is put to the test when a massive collection of illegal mythical animals is dismantled. Unicorns, kitsunes, dragons, griffins, and many more all need new homes. She'll have to work together with friend and frenemy to make it happen, not an easy feat when everyone is already overworked, tired, and has their own motives for which animals they want to keep.

With the overwhelming amount of animals that need her help and an upcoming evaluation that will determine her future at the Griffin Sanctuary, Charlotte is going to be busier than ever.

Charlotte Beaver is still a busy vet apprentice at the Griffin Clinic. When a call comes in for help with processing a large collection of illegal mythical animals, Charlotte jumps to volunteer! But what greets her at the processing center is beyond her worst nightmare. Charlotte is having a hard time processing the way these animals have been treated and abused and that there are just some of them that can’t be saved. But as they finally get a handle on the huge assortment of animals and start finding places for them to go, she begins to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Even better, she is able to continue care for a few of her favorite animals as they come to the Griffin Clinic. This is a very difficult subject to write about, but the author does an excellent job of presenting the reality without getting into too graphic of detail. Excellently done!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
