Savage Prince

The best of the series so far! There’s action and survival. Betrayal. Suspense. And a heavy dose of romance. There were lots of twists and turns throughout the story. That, and the intense connection between Ford and Juliet, kept me turning pages until the end.

Savage Prince starts with a bang, right after the cliffhanger in Defiant Princess...so definitely not stand-alone. In fact, this is book 3 in the Lost Moon U series, and the most surprising and emotional yet. Ford and Juliet are both more vulnerable, emotionally and at times physically, in this book than the previous two, and their characters really grow within these pages alone. They discover more people to trust, and more secrets are revealed. And no, I'm not sharing those, so go pick up the book! It's non-stop action...even when the action is just the two of them and no one else. I went into this book thinking it was the conclusion of the story, but I'm glad it wasn't. Because I'm not ready to leave this couple or this world behind. I can't wait to see what awaits them next.

I loved this continuation of Ford and Juliet’s fated mates, wolf and phoenix shifter romance with a side of mystery and danger. I could not put it down. I was swept up in the story and felt like I was running along with Ford and Juliet and feeling all their big feelings. This book is the third part of a quartet and ends on a cliffhanger. As long as you are aware of that you’ll enjoy the story. This book picks up at the exact moment where the last book left off with Ford in mortal danger and Juliet needing to save him. Ford, a wolf shifter, and Juliet, a phoenix shifter, were both betrayed by their pack alpha and they both want revenge. They have made it safely to Moon University, an alleged safe place for packless shifters, in order to hide out and plan but all is not what it seems and they are once again running for their lives not knowing who to trust. While doing so, they will also need to figure out their relationship, the impact some events have on everything, and who they can trust. This book has a little bit of everything - sweet moments, steam, exciting action, danger, strong friendships, painful pasts, mystery, evil actors, henchmen, plot twists, imperfect characters, betrayal, and laughs. The book is well written with witty dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, and an engaging storyline. I am excited to read the conclusion in the final book.
