  • Too much detail

Book was overly long due to the inclusion of every day life minutiae
  • Boring

Only reason I kept going is it helped me fall asleep at night!

I haven’t read one of the series in years and now I remember why. Her stories and themes have become routine. Scarpitta’s fears to consistent with no growth. And the technologies she has faced in this one are too unbelievable at present, possible but not probable.
  • Another Thriller from Cornwall

Well paced and easy to read, but hard to put down. Another Cornwall thriller perhaps without as many of the suspense surprises we’ve become accustomed from her. Highly enjoyable. Well worth your time.

Loony plot and endless soap opera dialogue.

I was completely hooked until the abrupt end. It felt rushed and incomplete to me.

I just like many of the former works better that had more intricate details and more thrills. The ending seemed hurried and I always want a Scarlett’s novel to last longer.
  • Not one of her best books. Very disjointed.
