Description

How did her love life become a community affair?

Since her divorce, Emily Lucretia—affectionately known as the flower lady to the people of Cemetery, Indiana—has been focused on her flower shop and taking care of her aging aunt and uncle. Her love life is hardly the centerpiece of her busy days.

Saul Culver, the town’s favorite bachelor and owner of the local barbecue joint, has been interested in Emily for a while. But as much as Emily knows about flowers, she can be a little oblivious to her own appeal. Saul is determined to show her just how special she is.

Saul isn’t the only one trying to get Emily out of her shell. Well-meaning locals have started tagging photos of Emily with #theflowerlady on social media—and now the entire town is involved in finding her Mr. Right. Saul won't give up easily. He’s finally caught her attention, and he's determined to convince Emily—and the town—that this is the real deal and not just some passing trend.

A great book with all you could hope for in a romance (w/o bedroom scenes). The author nicely avoided the formulaic trope of the terrible misunderstanding at the end of the story. Nice read with LOL moments

The Little Flower Shop Welcome back to Cemetery, Indiana where life is hopping at the Flower Shop and with the Flower Lady. I loved reading Emily and Saul’s love story. Plus a bonus love story and a tried and true 48 year romance. Lori Foster delivers an excellent story, with fun characters in a quirky town you just want to visit! And don’t forget Kathleen the mannequin, it wouldn’t be Cemetery without her! Two thumbs up for a feel good happily ever after!

This story made me so happy! There is something so compelling about a man who knows what he wants and who has the patience to work for it. Saul is everything you could want in a man: patient, caring, funny, successful, giving and good looking. Emily is someone I’d love to be friends with. What a kind and loving woman! Their story is beautifully written and kept me reeled in. One of my favorite things about Lori’s books is that she gives us a colorful supporting cast that I just want to read more about and this story was no different. The second installment in The Indiana Summers series does not disappoint and is so worth the time!

Emily loves her shop and her life but when Saul starts flirting with her Emily is completely ignorant of it. Saul finally just comes out and tells Emily he wants to date her. Emily soon learns her family is bigger than she thought and she has the love of a lifetime with Saul. Saul finally has Emily but will she accept his new found charge Beck. What a beautiful story of family!

It’s hard not to love Saul!!! He is outgoing and the hub of the community. Emily is much more reserved and tends to hold herself apart. It was fun watching them work on trying to date with all the town interested. At times I wanted to have a heart to heart with Emily telling her to step up so she didn’t lose the opportunity to move forward with Saul. The side story of Gentry and Mila was entertaining. You can’t help but love the family they were building were blood relations didn’t matter. Loved this story!!
  • Another entertaining story!

This was another entertaining story from the town of Cemetery, Indiana. Emily, who owns the flower shop, doesn’t realize how much she impacts the citizens of her town, especially Saul, who owns the local barbecue restaurant. He’s noticed her for quite awhile, while she seems to be oblivious. The secondary characters are just interesting as the main characters. Gentry McAdams, Emily’s employee, moved to Cemetery to start over. Is he, also, vying for Emily’s attention or did someone else catch his eye? How about Mabel and Sullivan, Emily’s aunt and uncle? Of course, Kathleen plays a major role in Emily and Saul’s relationship!

Lori Foster has a gift for creating a fictional world that feels like an amazing place to live. Cemetery, Indiana sounds like a fabulous place to visit ….meddling neighbors….quirky characters…..sassy animals…..so much fun. This is the second in the series and oh so much fun. Emily and Saul are so absolutely relatable. I absolutely could not put it down!
