Love this book in the Body Armor series! I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I love Lori’s stories. She created characters that you fall in love with both separately and together. Miles, The Legend, is no exception. So fun to see Miles joining Body Armor with Leese and Justice. This is great love story with awesome chemistry!

I think this is my favorite of The Body Armor series, so far. That is until the next one, lol. The chemistry between Miles and Maxi was hot. But, I, also enjoyed their connection in other aspects of their relationship. Miles was understandably upset when Maxi left with no explanation, even though he was used to having no commitment hook ups. Maxi felt that she had her reasons for having a no commitment hook up with Miles that couldn’t go any further. But when she’s having trouble, he’s the one she goes to for help. I liked that we get to see the rest of the gang and how they come together. We see more sides of Sahara (can’t wait for her story). There was enough mystery, danger, and sex to keep any reader enthralled.
  • Fantastic!

"Close Contact" (Body Armor Book 3) by Lori Foster is a fantastic read. I loved Miles and Maxi's story! This story has passion, romance, mystery, action, close friends, drama, animal rescue, entertaining and interesting characters, and more. A wonderful addition to the Body Armor series. Another great read by Lori Foster. I can't wait to see what happens next in "Fast Burn". Highly recommend to all fans of romance, action, and series.

An action, mystery, romance ... close contact has it all. Lori Foster knows how to write hot, tough, protective, caring macho fighters/ ex-fighters. Can't help but like 'em. Enjoyed seeing The Legend in action, and the build between the two as they overcome past wrongs and Maxi's wrong turn. Always fun to revisit the SFC and Body Armor guys and those strong, if somewhat emotionally broken independent, stubborn women who own their hearts.

When Maxi wakes outside, a long distance from her house, feeling sick and can't remember the previous night or how she got to where she was, she realizes her situation requires outside help. Strange things have been happening ever since she inherited her grandma's house, things being moved, things going missing and then reappearing, but never has she felt endangered until waking up outside. The only one she trusts is Miles, the sexy MMA fighter turned bodyguard she left behind after one explosive night without a word months ago. Miles is in a state of shock when he is called for an assignment and finds it is Maxi, the one who he can't get out of his head after he woke up to find her gone. He is determined to protect her and win her at the same time, but in order to do that he has to get to know her and learn why she is so determined to stay in her grandma's house and take care of her dozen's of cats when she is being encouraged to sell, threatened by an unknown person. I love this series and it only continues to get better. I absolutely cannot wait to read Sahara's story next!!! *I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book.*
