The story of British art in the Middle Ages, spanning from the murder of Thomas Becket in 1170 to the death of Richard II in 1400. 600-800 in the countries that are now England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, and in so doing, also encompasses the dynamic political and social structures of the time.
