This is the third of six volumes of a history of England, Scotland, and Ireland compiled in the sixteenth century by English editor Raphael Holinshed. This book, an edition published in 1808 from a volume originally published circa 1586, begins with a description of William the Conqueror and continues to describe the kings and queens of England in succession.
