A fast-paced, character-filled space odyssey. Love the character development of both lovable and devilish people. The courier service in space is dangerous and Lex is desperate to stay alive! Will the corporation win?

Mr. Lallo has it in spades. Started with the Free Wrench series, took a look at this one. Very engaging protagonists, excellent pace of stories. Looking forward to more of his works.

This is a peculiar ‘coming of age’ space opera in that the protagonist is already in his mid to late twenties. But he has been blithely living on the surface of life and it takes several fundamental shocks for him to access his deeper nature. The process is thoroughly readable and intensely enjoyable. I am looking forward to the next tale with the hope that the protagonist continues to grow.
  • Quirky futuristic characters

I’ve enjoyed several of this author’s books. This has long descriptions of the futuristic technologies and back stories, but they’re easy to skim! I like the quirky characters and off-beat, dynamic story line.

This is an amazing book that makes you think it’s over but it’s not. Perfectly sets up the rest of the series.

While I prefer “hard” science fiction, I thoroughly enjoyed Bypass Gemini. The plotting was well done and the characters were well developed. Suspension of disbelief was actually minimal except for Karter. I hope I will be able to read much more of this author’s SF. Dennis A. Cox

Couldn’t put it down. It grabbed me from the first pages and I actually read it in 3 days. Couldn’t stop reading til the end. Loved Ma and Karter.
