Now, he's on the ragged edge of burnout. His nights are plagued by twisted dreams. He's beginning to doubt if he can ever live a normal life—and he's right to think so.

When a power adversary from Wells's past finds him, he must once again enter the fray. For his country. For his soul. For revenge....

Good beginning and end. Too much detail as if author was trying to show off his knowledge or transpose scientific detail from a text book.

I been reading about John Wells from the start. Since the time I read The Faithful Spy, I find hard to read any other books except books about him. I'm just hooked I'm always thinking about what he is going to stop next. I really found it hard to put this book down. I would read in some down time at work and just get lost in the story and lose track of time. Then the boss would yell and I'd snap back. But all and all an amazing 5 star novel.

As anyone who has lived this kind of life or some of the various parts of it can tell you, trust in others is rare. The life, by necessity, is lonely. The writer does a good job of capturing this feeling and the action moves along at a good pace. A good read!
