Doubt this book was written by Clancy, but close enough. I real page turner with a great plot and characterization. I will definitely read the series.

I own a physical copy of this masterpiece. I read it this May and it is one of my favorite books. Here's why. Politics in this novel are really well developed. They go into depth and comparison just like watching them on TV. The story picks up after the first novel and exceeded into good characters of the last. The characters are very well developed just like the classics. Yeah, that's how good they are. They go into motivational dimensions for every character and seed out there struggles. The suspense is excellent just like Tom Clancy. Read it you will not be dissatisfied! The novel takes place between Splinter Cell and Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow but the full level of canon in the novels is somewhat gray. Either way the book is so good it is literally like reading a classic. It is one suspenseful adventure.

B4 you read this book you MUST read book one first. There are great characters in this book that were introduced in book 1. Having read the first one made me feel like this was a grand sequel.

This book was terrible. The character of Sam Fisher was turned from salty and stoic into a cliche' Hollywood action hero with a raging libido. This book was so terrible infact that I stopped reading when I was towards the end. The plot concept wasn't bad, but it was poorly executed. Any information involving weapons or tactics, which I'd assume is important considering the genre of this book, was poorly researched if it all. (I'm active duty military and gunsmith.) Overall, a waste of $10.

Decent read if you're a fan of Clancy, although not a lot of mystique involved. I often figured things out well before try were revealed in the plot because of how blatant they were laid out. However, I plan on finishing the series out, and there's a new author under the same pseudonym to look forward to.
