I gave up about halfway through this paper-thin plot revolving around lifeless characters. I will not invest my time or money in another Weeks novel.

I read this book in 2011 and was instantly hooked on Brent's style and the worlds he created. I'm a fan girl for life. Even if he makes his fans temporarily homicidal.

This book is definitely an enjoyable read. However, it could use some polishing. It was as if Brent Week's editor grew tired of editing his work, and skimmed through the rest of it without bothering to correct some issues. I hope this review doesn't scare anyone from reading this book though! The plot and the characters were very interesting!

I found the first book in a bookstore, then I had to have the others. I re-read them over and over and even got my boyfriend hooked on them. Took them to Europe with me for any down time too. Definitely recommend reading!
