I LOVE this trilogy. I can read it over and over again. It is so fantastic! Amazing story, strong characters, so many emotions to take at the same time that gets intense. Comparing what other people had said, I liked the ending. It was bittersweet. I almost cried as I read the ending. LOVE it! Good job, Brent Weeks!

Realistically grim

Don't write many reviews but this trilogy was so amazing that I just had to, and don't be put of by other comments that say that they didn't like the end, I can't say much about it or I'll spoil it but I kinda felt tears in my eyes when I was done, I know kinda corny but it was such an amazing book that it got that reaction from me, a must read!!! Can't wait to read his other series "black prism"

This book is rogue candy. And sooooo much more. If you are a fan of stealthy combat, intrigues, unpredictable characters, and the archetypal dark hero, this is your book.

I really loved this book! I would absolutely read the trilogy all over again if I had the time! But I honestly did not like the ending :( I wish there was more !

With a compelling plot, riveting characters, and stimulating syntax, this book easily earned the five stars I gave it. I'd refer this to anyone fifteen and older (not, however, to only restrict it to the young) due to the descriptive violence and explicit material throughout the story.

I'm not a big fantasy guy or book reader but I believe this to be my favorite book series of all time.
