    Zoe with a couple of friends volunteered looking for human remains in the harsh desert of Arizona. The. chilling feeling someone was watching in this dangerous park, where she now found a body only a week old, before heading back to town. After six year a new path away from these friends, a celebration to stay the night. A stranger catches her eye, FBI Seth, who searching the desert at night for a killer. Another group going out at night, to cover the mistake that he had made. Zoe last find, makes her a target, can FBI agent Seth protect her, even when she says no. The plot with Zoe and Seth get your attention from the first pages Dedicated to what they do, now it’s their lives they need to save. An excellent series, to read and enjoy, awaiting for the next. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

  • Exciting, fast paced read!

    An exciting, fast paced read, with no down side. I loved the interaction between Zoe and Seth, both are driven, smart and interesting. The bad guys abound and are not just the regular suspects, but pop up unexpectedly, just when all appears to be settling down. There is romance, steam and the HEA, along with a possible lead in for the next book. Do not miss this one! Add it now to your TBR list.

  • Fell in love with these characters, was blown away by their journey

    Zoe endeared herself to me from page one. Her humanity and the underlying strength she works so hard to maintain. She is down to earth, self sufficient and the storytelling made it so easy to put myself in her shoes. Seth is a bad@$$ ex navy seal and competitive is his middle name. But, he is also sensitive and soft hearted though he tries to hide those aspects. Instant attraction sizzles on first sight even if they both know nothing can come of this encounter. The second meeting is definitely not cute and throws them both into a tailspin as they run from one danger to another. This fast paced thriller with a giant dollop of romance kept me reading way past my bedtime, don’t miss it!

A FBI HRT team is sent to rescue them. Why are they targeted? What ensues is dangerous trip to Washington DC for Dr. Zoe Miller and HRT Seth Hopper with them wondering who they can trust Cold Deceit is filled with excitement, intrigue, multiple dangerous moments and romance. Another great Toni Anderson book!
