I have to give this book four stars due to the pleasure I got out of reading it. I find it interesting that female authors with two syllable first names and one syllable last names seem to write very similar books - strong female leads who seem to always have a missing sister in their past and seem to go off on their own to bring down the murderer, only to have their alpha male back up
rush in and help to save the day or do the clean up after. Due to the quality of the writing, I am going to read one more in this series but, if I can guess how Dakota is going to go off by herself in this one, I’m going to have to take a break. Well written is a great compliment in this genre so hats off to the author!

I would’ve given it 4 stars but the thing that bothered me the most about this book was how she kept describing Agent Marcus as “ the big man “. I understand her detailing him as that once but over And over again became a bit much and over excessive and weird tbh.

This book had me hooked. I read it in two days. I love the mma aspect of the story! The female lead is an amazing character! This story was great!!! If I had any complaints it would be the outcome was a little predictable. Great first book to the series. I definitely will continue it. A really wonderful read!
Good title

Excellent story. Maybe too much violence which I know is part of our society, but maybe if our writers and movies stopped, our society would also change.
