Phrasing is difficult at times, almost as if “American” vernacular is new. A lot of mental editing made it a slower than normal read for me but loved the story line.

Not the kind of story most readers like, including me.

This book started out a little unsettling and I almost put it down. Gradually I got into it and it got me hooked. I read it and was captivated by the unfolding events and the various characters. Some of the circumstances are were a little unrealistic but it still kept me tuning pages. I’m going to read book 2 and see if it keeps me intrigued.

A tough was to find out the man you love could be so selfish, insecure and just a low life. Interesting f characters. Could not figure out why she would not reveal things to the police detective. Interesting premise. CWoods

I just found the main character to be less intelligent and the scenarios less believable.

Excellent story telling with lots of twists. The only negative I can think of is that it took too many chapters to arrive at the mystery. Would I recommend this book and author? You bet I would!

I enjoyed this book and couldn’t wait until the end to find out who done it but what I don’t understand is the title of the book in relation to the story. Did I miss something?

Fantastic read and full of suspense. The characters were fantastic and the story was full of suspense and emotional distress. A nice girl enters a conniving and powerful family and stops all their atrocious crimes against humanity. Well done.
