Description

Rockstars, dark princes, werewolves, vampires and fated mates... what is a girl to do?

Lindsay Willows craves a simple life. One where she can make a difference without drawing too much attention to herself. As the daughter of both a vampire and a fae, the cards were already stacked against her. Finding out she’s the supposed mate of a dark fae prince doesn’t help matters. Especially when there are those who will stop at nothing to prevent her from mating with a prince she’s never even met.

When Exavier Kedmen, the incredibly sexy front man for a world-famous band, shows up wanting her to go back to working in a field she left three years ago, she can’t explain the strong feelings that surface for a man she barely knows.

Lindsay finds herself confronting demons from her past, coming to terms with the ones in the present, and finally looking forward to a future with the man she was created for. And she discovers evil doesn’t care who it hurts to obtain its goals, but even the evilest of things fear something, or in the case of Exavier, someone.

This book was an excellent way to introduce a new series. There was a great amount of side characters to surround the two main characters, Lindsey and Xavs were like a paranormal version of Romeo and Juliet except they both got to live at the end. By the end of the book your trying to figure out who will get the next book because Ms Roth does such a good job of keeping you guessing. Yet another great read from a wonderful author you won't be disappointed by this book you'll be ready and waiting for the next installment.

I enjoyed this book. Lindsay and Exavier are a great couple, but I was more thrilled with Jay and Gina. His book tells the story of childhood friends torn apart by family (she moved) who don't know the full extent of each other's abilities. The fight scenes were good, without giving full descriptions of what Lindsay or Exaviers powers really are. What I missed in this book was an explanation for the mothers actions and why suddenly Lindsay became such a wanted person. It also did not explain the full relationship between Lindsay, Myra and Gina. It was a good read and I will probably read the other installments in this series

What an amazing book! I love this new set of characters and the way that the author made their coming together not just a struggle but a journey. A very long journey, that was so full of emotions and tears, love and laughter, and ends up in such joy that I cried right along with the characters. This book held all of the paranormal elements that the author does so well, including the danger and action and the fated mates, but the book was really focused on the love and the music. I really hope the author continues this series, I need to know that Eion and the crew get their mates and that Jay, Gina and Myra find their way to love. I think this is my second favorite series by this author, sorry no one can replace the Crimson Ops crew in my heart. No matter what the author brings our way next, I just know I am going to enjoy it.
