Big Ben

Interesting plot lines. Good cut for a cliffhanger. Enjoyed the buddies interactions.

Malone gives us wonderful characters to bond with and to root for. Then she adds villains that we love to hate and gives us reasons for our ire. Then love, passion and vulnerability are added and we are hooked. At the end of the first book in the series she leaves us with a scream in our throats. If I had not bought the series or if books two and three were unavailable I would had to track her down, as one Nana to another Nana, haha. Well, I forgive her, so out to the deck with a hammock and a bottle of bubbly to read The Benefactor.

I loved this read Liv and Ben. Yeah. My favorite. I am going to purchase the rest of the books in this series. I loved how calm Ben was even when he was angry he was sexy. Go Nana!

This is the first book in a trilogy and does end with a cliffhanger so make sure you have the other 2 ready to go! Oof what a slowburn but that made it all the much better when it finally happens. I loved the way they met, was definitely original. Full of intrigue and action it keeps you on your toes. The chemistry between Ben and Livvy was palpable and I loved that all she could hold her own. The world Nana creates makes you want to know more about all the character so thankfully another character gets the next series (def jumping ahead of myself since I still need to read the next 2 parts of this haha). Very interested to know what happens next and I’m sure it’ll be a great ride.

Big Ben is just the beginning of this fantastic trilogy! This book is filled with interesting characters, the perfect amount of steamy moments mixed with suspense and intrigue and a plot that will keep you engaged and coming back for more! Livy gets caught up in the danger with a chance encounter with Ben and her life is now turned upside down as she decides who she can trust and who wants to harm her. Ben carries a wealth of secrets and with his friends they are trying to get revenge for a lost friend and turn the tables on the Elite secret society. The one thing he didn’t count on was Livy and the impact she seems to be having in his life. There are so many secrets and moving parts going on in this book and I am excited to see where this story goes in the next books in the See No Evil trilogy!

I was already intrigued by the London Lords from other books, but I was in no way prepared for just how awesome they are! Ben and Livy’s story is the perfect intro! The friendship, the romance, the intrigue...I just cannot wait for more!

A cute start to the story about Ben and Olivia. I’ve always loved Nana’s writing style but these series books with the “to be continued” seem to be a bit drawn out. This is the first time I’ve just felt the story was too slow. I still love the appeal of the stories and the connections to some of our old favorite characters so I will continue to be a fan. Just wishing for a better format in the future.

This story has a bit of everything, suspense, intrigue, secret societies, and of passion. And boy does Ben and Livy bring on the passion. At first they play coy with each other, but when the fire is lit, it explodes, can’t wait to see what happens in book 2 because warning there’s a big OMG

Big Ben and Livy have a unique meeting, which is the beginning of a unique relationship. Ben and his friends are working to take down the person they hold responsible for their friend’s death. Livy, whose dealing with her own grief and relationship issues, stumbles into the middle of the it all. Ben and Livy have great chemistry and their dialogue is always entertaining - I just wish there was more at the beginning of the book. The first half of the book seems to set up the behind the scenes story, but when the two of them are on the page together the story comes to life. I’m sure all the set up will come in handy as we get into the rest of the series. Spoiler alert...I want to know who she sees in the loft!

I absolutely loved Ben and Livy!! Big Ben is a total 5-star read!! Big Ben is the first book in the See No Evil Trilogy focused on the telling of Ben, one of the London Lords, and the cousin of Roone Ainsley, and Olivia's story. We first met Ben in Royal Tease, and we have been hungering for his story ever since that first meeting and now we have it!! What a story it is!! Ben and Livy's story takes us on a wild roller coaster ride of a journey filled with mystery, intrigue, romance, secret societies, and a whole lot of HOTNESS!! Big Ben is told in dual POV, and begins with Ben and Livy's accidental meeting in a dark closet at a fancy black-tie event thanks to each of them hiding out to keep from being discovered, and thanks to Ben, but unbeknownst to Olivia, this will begin the first of their many encounters. Ben, who along with a group of his friends, who are known as the London Lords, and who are all a part of a secret society, known as The Elite, are determined to get revenge on that secret society for their loss. And poor unbeknownst to Livy, out of necessity by Ben, she has been drawn into plan. However, Livy has just as much going on in her life as Ben does in his, but for completely different reasons. Yet, Ben and Livy have so much chemistry between the two of them that it jumps off the pages of the book, and you just know from their very first meeting that these two belong together no matter that Ben has the reputation of being a cocky, arrogant ladies' man, and Livy, of being shy, a one man's girl. I absolutely love them together. Livy is smart, beautiful, feisty, and loving. Ben, however, underlying all of his arrogance, and beauty, is a man of many layers, who most of all is a deeply protective alpha male of those he loves. Big Ben will make you laugh with all of the witty dialogue between the character, esp. Ben and Livy, but you also will want to beat some sense into some folks. So, if you are looking for a great adventure to begin Big Ben is that book for you, but be prepared for that darn cliffhanger of an ending. I need The Benefactor ASAP!!
