    I couldn't put it down! I literally read this in one sitting. And it was easy, 'cause this book has it all: HOT hot lovin', mystery, suspense, and intense action (like fighting-action, not the wink-wink kind of action. Well yeah, that too. I do tip my hat to these ladies for coordinating that final love scene. WOW!) Sparrow struggled with fitting in and her self-worth, or lack thereof, and I really enjoyed reading how she came into her own as the story progressed. I will say, though, that she initially came off as really...shall we say, "I'm the town bicycle and EVERYONE gets a ride!" In my opinion, her promiscuity was a bit overkill, but I think it was used to show how much she changed from the beginning of the book to who she became by the end. And her bodyguards...well, let's just say there's something for everyone in that group. It's a perfect mix of four distinct personalities that any romance reader can certainly find a favorite! (I found mine. It's Drake!) While I think this book could be read on its own (if you're okay with the Happy For Now ending and not reading how the underlying mystery plays out), I am DEFINITELY excited to read the next book to find out what happens next in this adventure! (I was given this book in consideration of my honest thoughts)

    I like Liza and Keira’s storytelling. Sparrow is definitely defiant, she rebels against her parents and the pack expectations at every opportunity. But when faced with hot bodyguards trying to abstain is not an option. This fast paced romantic suspense is a yummy paranormal read.
