    Above the Waves is the fifth book in the Seven Wardens series. This is not a standalone and should not be read if you haven't read the first four books in the series, you'll be missing too much info on what's happening in the series. This review assumes you're read all of the books so it will contain spoilers for books 1-4. I seriously love this series. The Warden's storyline is gripping and well written. The heat and steam between Macey and her men is great and I love that it’s there but it's not the focal point of the whole book. It really hits on the relationships of the seven wardens and how important they are. This book picks up where book four left off. Macey now has the power of all the elements, the Mahoun has been banished, Macey is recovering with help other men and they still need to defeat the rest of the Mahoun's siblings. So just another day in the life of being one of the seven wardens. Maybe Macey will finally get her waffles. Awesome book! Can't wait to read book six.     Oh man, the saga continues and it’s more personal than ever for Macy! I really need Under the Ice to come out and see how she is able to defeat her new enemies, I really really want Macy to have that HEA after everything she’s been thru, but I think this newest threat is a doozy on a very personal level and I’m so glad that she has her five guys with her to help and support her thru this. You really should read Above the Waves, better yet, read the first four books first! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    Macey and her guys are back. The story starts out with a bang and just keeps going. There’s humor, hearbreak, romance, and waffles! This series is a wild roller coaster ride and I just want it to keep going :)
