A country music star, his nanny for his niece, and their second chance at true love and family… Twelve years ago, Owen Carr traded his roots and his sweetheart in Gold Valley for the bright lights of Nashville, where he found fame as a country music star. But when a tragic accident leaves him single-handedly raising his eight-year-old niece, Marie, he's forced to return home. Overwhelmed and out of his depth, Owen finds a lifeline in a most unexpected place. Natalie Ringold, now a ballet teacher at the local dance studio, was the love Owen left behind. And more importantly, she still holds a place in Owen's heart. Natalie, once wed and now divorced, sees in Owen's return the missed opportunities from her past. Dreams of auditioning for a professional ballet company and a future with Owen come rushing back. As they mend bridges and explore the sparks that still sizzle between them, will they open their hearts to a second chance at love? I am so glad I've discovered this author. This is the second of her books I've read and I can't say enough about it. It is such a blessing to find an author who can write about romance with a twist or two without using graphic sex scenes and filthy language. This book beautifully showed how hard it can be to forgive ones self and how God is always there.

This is the 4th story in the series you don't have to read others to enjoy this one. Other characters are mentioned in passing in the story so you learn more about past characters. Owen and Natalie were high school sweethearts and split when Owen left town. Now 12 years later they are both back in their hometown and Owen needs a babysitter and runs into Natalie. It's a good clean story you will enjoy.
