My favorite of the series!

Wow. Finally done. I have started and stopped this book since 2017. I was so bored with the first chapter. I just felt Drew was different. Anyway, 3.5 stars. Drew and Shelby were a great match. Maybe a little boring. Of course all the players were there and a few additions. Other than boredom, I felt the author rushed this story. I really didn’t feel the intrigue of the other two books. In fact, I felt rushed to the neat conclusion. Disappointing. I felt the author was telling me where she wanted me to go, instead of me finding the clues and getting there on my own. I was definitely bored with the constant inner dialogue that took up most of the story. I wanted Drew interacting with his family and Shelby. I feel cheated. Anyway it’s done. Very little action. The HEA was good, except it was ridiculously short and rushed. No epilogue. I was almost expecting to see THE END!

This was an intriguing story line that continued to get better as it evolved. I’m sad that the series is complete. I really enjoy all of her books!

Excellent the best ever loved this series

This was a roller coaster of who done it, and oh hell no you didn’ts for me. I absolutely loved this series and it was an automatic to jump in since I am a fan of Lexi Blake. From meeting Mia in the Master and Mercenaries series with Case I loved where the series was leading. Alright please read these books in order, and if I have to be honest I would say that if you have the time and inclination to go alllllll the way back and begin with the Master & Mercenaries Book 01: The Dom Who Loved Me or if you don’t have time to go all the way back you could say that the Lawless action begins in Masters & Mercenaries Book 11: Dominance Never Dies with Mia & Case Taggert. Book One: Ruthless Book Two: Satisfaction Book Three: Revenge I don't think that someone that jumps in with this book will pick up the back stories and nuances of the side characters that ultimately pop up. Think about what I discussed above and where you are going to begin this journey. This book is an awesome book. From start to finish the connection between the main characters is very focal. The awkward and socially stunted tech guru (Drew) and the ready for the role investigative journalist (Shelby). If you were a fan of the Lawless family there is lots of interaction with Drew’s brothers and sister just for you. The heartbreak of these children’s lives was very emotional and I really felt this plot down to my core. As the eldest sibling I think that I related to Drew and his sense of responsibility. So for me any series that chronicles siblings resonates with me. Alright I am usually a pretty good judge of where the book I am reading is leading me, and what the conclusion is probably going to be, but this one had some lefts and rights that I didn’t even count on which was a splendid surprise. You will love it if you... loved any of Lexi Blake’s novels prior, love a complex love stories that didn’t start as a love story, want to read a HEA novel, a fan of Shayla Black cause I love both authors, wanna be kept at the edge of your seat, love romance novels, and if you love to read...so everyone should give this series and novel a chance.

Believe me there are so many twists and turns you won't know what's happening next. It also doesn't hurt to have Ian Taggart, his wife Charlotte, half brother Case Taggart and the gorgeous body guard Remy play key roles. Lexi Blake at her best, but then she always is!

I loved this one so much! Drew was written so well. I love how he's all moody and snarky but has this soft and sweet side that he only shows to her. Shelby is the best at handling Drew and I loved the way they interact together. Best couple in the series and I love how Big Tag and his wife are in this book because that's who this couple remind me of. This book is a must read.

The question becomes whether or not they can continue to keep everyone safe, including themselves. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…Holy horde of monkey balls, Lexi Blake is the SHIZ-NIZ!! It seems like every book I read is better than the last. I don’t know how she does it. As with the previous Lawless brothers, Drew is completely drool-worthy. From his gorgeous shell, to his incredible intelligence, to the heart of gold that beats within. Shelby? Well, she is just all kinds of amazing wrapped up in one beautiful package, with smarts for days, and a heart like no other. She is kind, sweet, and brave. Not to mention sassy. I love her! Ms. Blake has her character development down to a science, and each new character brings something new to the table. They are complex, and authentic, with a realism that can only come from having a soul all their own. The plot and storyline are thorough, adventurous, exciting, devious, and downright amazing. No one brings a story to life quite like Lexi Blake. Her writing style is all her own, and something I truly love. The Lawless boys may be done, but I can’t wait to see what adventure Ms. Blake has in store for us next. Kristie K

Definitely my favorite book of the series!!! We get answers to everything we've wondered from the beginning, and all starring my favorite Lawless, Drew. He's the perfect combination of broody alpha and complete nerd. And Shelby is PERFECT for him. She doesn't let him get away with anything, and the chemistry between these two is intense. There are twists and turns in this book, and Lexi Blake pulls out all the stops in this romantic suspense. A fantastic addition to this series!! I would definitely recommend one clicking!!!
