Good development of characters. Personal relationships descriptive and humorous at times. Story moves right along, a good read.

Police procedural mysteries located in England are certain to appeal to a particular group. Fast paced, twisted, and told with a hint of wry humor, the Kate Redman series fits the bill.

I have really enjoyed the books in this series. They are easy to read and hard to put down. It is easy to relate to the main characters, and the plot keeps you guessing.

This book was perfect like all her others I've read. I'm surprised so much of her work was offered free on iBooks. Every title I've read is quick, well developed, and I usually finish in one sitting. Read this author, you will not be disappointed!

This story has a happy beginning and appears to be a quiet day for a homicide detective. Of course, as the story progresses, situations start to evolve and one confusing crime scene leads to another. By mid story, things are heating up as more and more info is gathered about the suspect(s). Also, Kate, sadly, begins to understand the old saying, "some days you're the wind shield, some days you're the bug", as her life seems to be falling down all around her. Thankfully, in the end things work out well for all but the bad guy(s). Smooth writing, the story flows nicely. I'm ready for book 6. Keep it up Ms. Grace. RET. LT.

I am enjoying this series tremendously. Kate is a different heroine, but have been mesmerized by these books. Looking forward with mixed emotion for last of the series.
