Thanks to the author, I was allowed to read an ARC of this book. All I can say is WOW! This book is from Chad's (Amy's brother)POV and get ready, you will love Chad almost as much as Liam. Chad is and a$$hole from the get go, but he sure can make an a$$hole be sexy. This story brings answers to exactly what happened the night that changed Amy's life. We get the answers to what led up to that night and what the consequences after that have been. We find out what Chad has been up to during the past six years and why he hasn't been in Amy's life during that time. We find out why Chad doesn't trust anyone, and when I say anyone, I mean anyone...well, except for Amy and his friend Jared. The story introduces us to Gia and we get to explore the secrets that she brings to the mix. As we move through the story, we get Amy and Liam. Yes, we get more Liam Stone! This books has so many twists, turns, secrets and answers that you will not want to put it down. Lisa Renee Jones knows how to grab you at page one and keep you until "The End." This one is a gripping story of fear, guilt, revenge, protection, trust, sex and love. If you have read the first two "Amy" books, you definitely must read this one! If you haven't read the first two "Amy" books, get them now, read them and be ready when Forsaken hits the shelves! You won't regret it!

I love how this starts right where book #2 left off. Lots of twists & turns....you don't know who to trust. Very good book!!

*Book received via publisher* Once again I have devoured a book from The Secret Life of Amy Bensen series. Forsaken is the third book in the series and is told from Chad’s POV. As he escapes his captors he finds himself stuck with the beautiful and mysterious Gia, who doesn’t get his good side. After running and hiding for the last six years Chad is not in the mood to trust anyone. He has way too many reasons to expect everyone he meets has motivation to kill him; this makes him a bit cranky. Forsaken begins right where Infinite Possibilities ends. The difference this time is that we are getting the story from Chad’s POV, not Amy’s. {Don’t worry though, Amy and Liam become a part of the story too.} Once free, Chad’s mission is to get to his sister and make sure she is alive. Last he knew, Amy’s location had been compromised and was back on Sheridan’s radar. Chad has made his sisters safety his number one priority, which is why he always has a plan. “Always be prepared” has taken on new meaning since he made the wrong deal with the wrong people. What he didn’t plan on was having Gia along for the ride. He knows he should leave her behind and never think of her again. The problem with that plan is that Gia is on Sheridan’s radar too. If he leaves her, she will most certainly die by Sheridan’s orders and he refuses to be the cause for any more deaths. In complete honesty, Chad is an a**hole; but under the circumstances, his attitude problem is understandable. Gia is way out of her element and has taken on more than she logically thought through. When she decided to break Chad out and betray a very powerful and dangerous man her plan didn’t go much farther than getting Chad out. Now she is a target with no plan and the only man who can save her is a man who wants nothing to do with her. She most certainly didn’t plan on Chad being a storm of anger, passion and protection. Forsaken is a fast paced, suspense filled romance that will keep you addicted with every turn of the page. From beginning to end Lisa Renee Jones kept me reading, from the suspense of the run to the high of the erotic romance. I can’t wait to get the fourth book in The Secret Life of Amy Bensen, Unbroken, due to release September 2015! This will be the fourth and final book of the series that will tie everything together and give us the wedding of Amy and Liam. I am so excited for this! Of course I am sure not everything will go as smoothly as everyone hopes but I have no doubt Liam will keep Amy safe. I can’t wait!

I was given an early ARC for my honest review. Plus, I do not give any spoilers out but I still give you my opinion. I have been waiting for this book for awhile to come out. This book was so worth the wait!! It finally tied in all the questions you had and answered them all. I was so engulfed in this book it literally felt like I was watching a movie while reading. It was totally amazing. I love Lisa's writing and it seems like she keeps getting better and richer with her words and expressions. I was totally in awe. Like I said I was watching Forsaken the Movie in my head!!! Once again Lisa you NAILED it. BRAVO!!

Forsaken is in the POV of Chad, Amy Bensen's brother. Before Amy had thought she lost him, Chad was a treasure hunter. As we learned in the first two books in this series Amy had lost her parents and thought she had also lost her brother too in a fire. But Chad has been hiding out and trying to keep Amy hidden and safe for six years. Now that he was caught and saved. He has to go find Amy and tell her everything, because she is the only one he can trust. The person who saved him is Gia. He is not sure if she is working him over or is trying to help him. When Chad finds Jared who has been helping him hide and keep Amy safe all these years. Gia who saved Chad has him second guessing if he should trust Jared. Especially with Chad's motto being "trust no one". This is an edge of your seat. kind of book. You, as the reader are not sure who Chad should trust. Will Gia turn out to be the woman of Chad's dream? He did not even know if he wanted Gia, or will this woman be playing him like a fool to get the treasure. If Chad has the treasure everyone is looking for. Can't wait for Unbroken.

Fantastic! Could not put this well written, captivating, unpredictable, seductive story down with its gripping and riveting roller coaster of action and intrigue, reliving the past and fighting for the future with the resolve to carry this through to the bittersweet moment of what some call justice and others call revenge. It is so jammed packed with secrets, suspense, lies, betrayal, mystery, revenge and heartache but also passion, with the burn of desire, the rush of pleasure and the escape into oblivion, that only a Lisa Renee Jones story can take you. This story is from Chad's POV, Amy's brother and he is one hot, hard, devastated, "trust no one", alpha male, that answers all the questions you might have of the who, why and how wrapping up all the loose ends from the previous books. It does leave more questions for the next, but with a new possible motto of "alone isn't better". I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES!!!! 5+STARS. I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

It was worth the wait.​ Outstanding work!!!! I'm still reeling. Bloody hell the plot was dynamite! The third novel in the Amy Benson series written from Chad's point of view. Forsaken is full of twist, turns, suspense and romance all wrapped into one erotic story. This series is only getting better and continues leaving the reader demanding for more. A passion filled, tragic, enthralling and suspenseful mystery.
