I loved this book! The characters were well developed and the storyline drew me in completely. If you love demons and vampires, this book is the one you want to read on a rainy dark night, all alone!

I enjoyed the story and liked the main characters. I felt like your alchemist twist was really unique but you failed to capitalize on that in the last fight-scene. You spent a chapter laying out the chemical warfare but only brushed over it in the fight scene. I feel like you missed a great opportunity to build out your characters, especially the new ones you introduced towards the end. And, I’ll add that if there were “hundreds” of vampires to witness the ritual, it’s doubtful our small group of characters would have gotten away with light injuries, unless you highlighted Rend’s alchemy. The Pearls were neat, but even that miracle was underplayed. Also, I thought you should have sacrificed someone. Happy endings are difficult to swallow! Overall the fight scene was disappointing. I plan to read the next two books in the series. Maybe this has changed. It was fun to read!

I have never read this author before. This was free book...let’s just say when I finished I immediately bought the next book. I don’t want to tell you about the story, read it...trust me, and enjoy!

I have read every last one of Sarra Cannon’s books, and enjoyed them all. As you read, they become page turners and ensnare you. This particular story has a wonderful crossover with her other fiction that adds to the fun, but can be read on its own. The last book in this series talks about Season Two coming out "later this year". I find myself missing it and anxious for it to come out. I don't normally write reviews–it has to be something incredibly compelling for me to do. Let's hope this review and more reviews like it help get more of Sarra's fiction out here including Season 2 of Sacrifice Me!
