If you’ve read the first two, read it! It’s amazing but quite sad. [I don’t want to give spoilers.] To those of you who said it wasn’t as good as the other two, maybe try writing a well-plotted, well-written, compelling trilogy that in total is about 900 pages, before you hate on one of the books? Bye, everyone! PS: GALE IS A JERK, AND HE DOESN’T EVER SUPPORT KATNISS, THE AMOUNT OF TIMES HE’S PUBLICLY DISLIKED HER CHOICES, AND WHEN HE GOT MAD AT HER FOR KISSING PEETA TO SAVE HER LIFE! SO SELFISH. AND ALSO HE KILLED [YOU KNOW WHO], AND GALE CAN’T UNDERSTAND KATNISS, BECAUSE HE WASN’T IN THE FREAKING ARENA, BUT PEETA WAS! ADDITIONALLY, WHEN GALE WAS INJURED, PEETA HELPED HIM, BUT GALE WOULDN’T HAVE DONE THAT FOR PEETA. PEETA HAS ALMOST DIED FOR KATNISS INTENTIONALLY [MULTIPLE TIMES!] BUT GALE WOULD NOT! GALE IS NOT ONLY SELFISH AS A PARTNER, BUT SELFISH AS A PERSON. IF YOU AGREE WITH ME TO ANY EXTENT, PLEASE PLACE THE FOLLOWING EMOJIS ON YOUR REVIEW IN ORDER: “😃😏😊”. So. There. Team. Gale.

OMG I cried at like 10 places in this book, and I NEVER cry in books or movies. This was an incredible ending to an even more incredible series. Everyone must read this series at least once in their life!

I love this book, the beginning was kinda boring but *sighs* poor Peeta, just WHYYY?? This book was very depressing, the way Katniss just lost the will to live killed me, she didn’t deserve that much pain…Peeta was a light in the dark for her. One more thing, WHY DID SUZANNE KILL OFF FINNICK AND PRIM???? P.S Katniss please do not throw stuff at the poor cat

Hunger games was hands down one of the best books I’ve ever read. Same with catching fire. But….. *spoiler alert* Literally half of the innocent minor characters DIED! Finnick,(just got married, wife pregnant but he doesn’t know) Cinna, (lead the revolution through katniss’s clothes) Prim, (whole reason katniss went to the hunger games). Need I say more? Also, Katniss at the end just shut herself out of society, married PEETA?! And had 2 kids she didn’t want. Also, what abt Gale? Their 5+ years of friendship don’t mean anything?! I read the last 5 chapters before bed, and then cried myself to sleep. Super depressing ending. If it wasn’t, Hunger games would be at the top of my favorite series list. B/c of this book, its ranking is about number 20. Super sad book. Not highly recommended. 😭😭😭😭😭😭

This book honestly made me so mad because why kill off Finnick but not GALEEEE EVERYONE-HATES GALE. Gale practically killed Primrose. Finnick is definitely in my top 5 favorites but POOR ANNIE OH MY LITHIUM THEY LITERALLY HAD JUST GOTTEN MARRIED WHYY. Great storytelling though, I loved the plot twist towards the end-ish with Snow and Coin.

i love the hunger games series very much, but for me this book was the worst in the trilogy. it gets extra points because of the ending (i won’t spoil it). but 2 of the deaths in there made me give it a 3.
