I have read all the previous C.J. Box books. This was a disappointment and it will make me leery of purchasing any more of his books

Can’t wait for another in the series.

CJ Box describes the many conflicts between man and beast in a challenging terrain which is yet another force sometimes more perilous than man. His words take the reader from the towns with corrupt sworn officials to the wilderness where the reluctant Joe Pickett stumbles into the middle of another human apex predator plan. Kept waiting for a bear to snack on someone. A girl can dream!

Revenge for Nate.

Nate ends up with some powers that challenge the imagination — but it’s a good book.

Just couldn’t get into this one. I have read all in the Joe Picket series, have grown to love all these characters. Maybe I just tired of the chaos. The entire Axel books have not enjoyed.

CJ Box is the best. Every book with Joe Pickett is the best of all. I have read all of them totally love the series. His other books with different characters are just as good.

Somewhat stilted compared to his other books, and the whole collegiate lefty activist/terrorist thing was less likely than uneducated right wing militias with the same idea.

Well worth the read! lots of real time issuesI am filled with drama right up till the end.
