I laughed my head off. Just like Leighton, for the first half of the books I loved and breathed waiting for her to start dreaming . And I screamed in frustration every time she and Killian almost kissed. And oh, I fell so hard for him … cinnamon roll and beautiful bastard — he was everything!

I absolutely loved everything about this book. The banter, the chemistry, all the references to bookish tropes and topics. Also the transition from book boyfriend to real boyfriend was amazing. I couldn’t stop turning the pages, I loved every second of it. Leighton’s snark toward her wise coupled friends was the most reletable part. Coupled-up friends really have no idea how annoying and upsetting they are when they dole out their dating wisdom.

Today, he’s wearing a black suit. Black shirt, black leather shoes. No tie. He looks like the dark angel of smut incarnated.
