Great story line that is very relevant to our current political situation. Love the new addition to the Campus Staff.

Have thus far been a fan of the continued writings of the Campus storyline, but there is some glaring inaccurracies about weapon terminology, basic knowledge, and implementation. As a former FMF corpsman i find it suprising the author isnt familiar with some of the DOD’s most basic weapons given his Naval Intel background. Books with the name Clancy on the front have always been stellar on attention to detail especially with equipment, hoping it continues to be going forward. Excited for the next book and the future for our characters regardless.

Another splendid Jack Ryan, Jr. tale. Great writing/ edge of the seat stuff. Please keep doing what you’re doing, Tom Clancy and Woodward. Beautiful writing, with TONS of heart. I anxiously await the next chapter in this series. -Richard from Minnesota

Jack Ryan Jr. is likely the worst agent ever. Dude makes Mr. Bean look like 007. I only read these because I’ve read all the others, but at best they are formulaic, at worst they are trash. What made the originals so good was that it was an Everyman, placed in a situation he wasn’t trained for and still managed to accomplish the job. Newer stuff is all “let’s see what bollocks-upped situation we can put our “hero” in and somehow make it out again.

Finally, a story with plot and technical grit that Mastercraftsman Tom Clancy would be proud to call his!

Great read but loses one star for reversing and denigrating the primary advantage of the HK-416 it’s wonderful short piston system.

Kept my attention to the end. I did lose track of whether or not President Ryan is aware the Chinese can see thru UMBRA.

Writer needs to research weapons. M4s are gas direct impingement guns that are 5.56 x 45 mm not 7.62 x 51 mm. 416s are short stroke piston guns.
