Quick read with a lot of punch. This winter wonderland story introduces us to silver Fox Marshall DAG Toland assigned to protect Chef Bobbie Strada a key witness to a crime. Hiding in a cabin deep in the woods of Aspen, took me on another of this author’s famous signature crime story adventures brimming with suspense and romance. Protecting her is his main objective but a series of unexpected events have them rethinking their plan. What happens and why are they hiding is part of the fun of this story. For a short read it had a little bit of everything that had me reading this story in one sitting . Highly entertaining crime/opposites attract romance story .

I love that Dag had to work so hard to hide his attraction to Bobbie and I loved Bobbie's fire. They are an older couple that has lived life and it was great to see them get a happily ever after...after all that exciting suspense and danger passes. Great read!
