Princess Charming

This is a retelling of the Cinderella fairy tale with a twist. All the elements are here. Wicked step-family, charming royal, jewel-encrusted slippers, and a dash from the ball at midnight. The twist? Cynthia’s true love is Princess Charming. The prince gets the consolation prize.

A fresh spin

Erica Ridley finds a way to put a fresh spin on Cinderella.
Cynthia is the proverbial Cinderella.
Only, it’s not the prince she’s smitten with…it’s his sister.
So, will Cinderella get her princess?
Recommend.

Who knew a lesbian retelling of Cinderella was what my life was missing?? Erica Ridley, that's who!! Her books are pure magic and this one lived up to that joy! The only thing I didn't like was how short it was, I wanted more of Cynthia and more of Ammalia!!! Such a wonderful story, I will be rereading this again and again!

Loved reading the fabulous and fantastic romance story. When Princess Ammalia sees Cynthia, she wants her for herself, but Ammalia's brother, the prince, also wants Cynthia. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and a must read love story. Can't wait to read the next story by the phenomenal author, Erica Ridley!

A reverse Cinderella story. Everyone is excited to see and meet the prince, except Cynthia. She wants to meet his sister the princess!
Cinderella with a twist

By Great start to a series!
The classic Cinderella story with a few cute twists, mainly that rather than becoming besotted with the prince, Cinderella/Cynthia is smitten with his sister, Princess Ammalia. No pumpkin coach or fairy godmother, but the mean stepmother and stepsisters are there, as well as Cynthia’s friends Jack and Gus, not mice but magpies. The romance is sweet and just the right amount of steamy, and seeing Cynthia’s stepfamily get their comeuppance was a lot of fun. I would have liked to see a little more depth in the characters and for the story to veer off a bit more from classic Cinderella but still a satisfying little read.
I received an advance copy of this novella as part of the author’s review team. I voluntarily leave this review; all opinions are my own.
