I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it. I just LOVE this series. The alpha K-9 men along with their dogs are federal agents. The series follows the group as they meet their significant others. The stories are just filled with suspense and intrigue while we watch the characters also fall in love. This is written in a dual POV format. Getting both main characters really help me to better understand and connect to them. It makes for a more enjoyable read for me. Take one undercover federal officer (Jaime a/k/a Jimmy) to infiltrate the mob. Then add in a heroine (Bella) determined to wrestle the controlling interest of her bistro away from her awful aunt who just happens to be the “Godmother” of the local mob! Can Jaime figure out who all of the parts are to the mob? What is the “big job”? Is the sexy restaurateur a member or just a casualty do to being a family member? Can Bella finally get her restaurant away from her aunt? Can Jaime and Bella trust in each other to take down the evil? I adored reading this book. It is written in my favorite dual POV format. Seeing into the characters' thoughts really humanized them and drew me closer to them. The plot was very well written. I could picture the scenes as if I was watching a movie. This is a sexy book so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone under the age of 18.

Loved everything about this book! Had you hooked from the very first chapter to the very end, The author knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time! The story follows Port Authority K-9 Sergeant, Jamie Pataglio, who infiltrates an Italian mafia group as “The Fist” aka Jimmy Santoro. Jamie is undercover to take down the Mancuso crime family. His motivation to take such a risk —to get his dad out of prison for early parole. After saving Tony Mancuso’s life in prison, Jamie gets into his good graces and receives an invitation to meet up when he got out of prison. Taking his K-9 companion, Jax, alongside with him, he hoped to make a slam dunk case and fast. However, Jamie didn’t anticipate meeting someone as beautiful as Tony’s cousin, Bella and coming to fall in love with her. Bella, raised by her aunt Paola, and mastermind of the Mancuso family, always had the dream of owning her own restaurant. When Paola helps her start her own restaurant, she didn’t anticipate that the motives to help her would go as far as using her and the restaurant for the headquarters to the crime organization. Feeling trapped in her aunt’s workings, she meets Jimmy (aka Jamie), and she had an immediate attraction to him. She tried to resist but fate had other plans. What started out as getting close to her to find out more information on the Mancuso family, turns into more than just an attraction for Jamie. One that proves to make his undercover position much harder than he anticipated. This action packed book was so well done. There is some foul language and open door scenes but nothing overly graphic. The author does a great job creating such a deep connection in addition to explosive chemistry between Jamie and Bella that have you rooting for their relationship to survive. Their route to happily ever after is not easy and definitely encounters many obstacles but trust me the entire ride is worth it! Above ‘N’ Beyond, the latest book in Tee O’Fallon’s Federal K-9 series went above and beyond my expectations! I loved the main characters Jamie and Bella, but I think the dogs - K-9 Jax and pup Gnocchi - stole the show. This one is for people who like a little bit of angst before getting to the happily ever after. K-9 Sergeant Jamie Pataglio goes undercover in Bella Bianco’s restaurant to infiltrate the Mancuso crime family. Instead, he becomes enamored with Bella, niece of the infamous “Godmother”, Paola Mancuso. Boy, do the sparks fly! Trying to keep his cover, problems with his FBI handler, and a jealous enforcer for the Mancuso family who also wants Bella make it a challenging, action-packed assignment for Jamie. Cameos from other couples in the Federal K-9 series round it all out. If you like romantic suspense, I highly recommend this book and the rest of the series. Note: Above ‘N’ Beyond can be read as a standalone, but why not read them all?

Sorry to see the end of this series, this last book is now my favorite. We meet Bella and Jamie, who are battling the same issues, in opposing directions. Action, steam, romance and of course Jax, along with his new sidekick, Gnocchi, make this storyline so special. Do not miss this newest by Tee O’Fallon.
