One of a Kind by Sandra Sookoo When the bundle of rags Annabelle finds in Hyde Park turns out to be a gentleman, she jumps right in to help him. Not so easy, though, the gentleman, who turns out to be the Earl of Hazelton, is badly beaten and has lost his memory. Andrew doesn’t know who he is or why he was attacked, but it seems to concern a mysterious necklace found in his pocket. He and Annabelle work together, with the help of the Rogue’s Arcade, to solve the mystery of the necklace, and Andrew. Annabelle is unconventional, smart, and independent. There is great chemistry between them. An interesting and entertaining story. Unmasked at Midnight by Collette Cameron Darius Westbrook is opening a bookshop in Woodhaven. He was settling in, even considering courting a local young woman, until his life is turned upside down by the vicar’s daughter and a goose named Mr. Waddlesby. Araminta is excited about the bookseller opening and wants to move her lending library to a space in the shop. This is a delightful story full of fun, great characters, and a lovely romance. Araminta has an interesting secret that becomes a fantastic surprise for Darius. Kiss the Duke Goodbye by Tracy Sumner Knox Dewitt needs a bride with a large dowry to help save his dukedom. What he wants is a love match like the ones his siblings have. He is absolutely fascinated with Clarissa Marlowe. The large number of hats he buys from her shop (gifts for ladies in the family) is a hint about the way he feels. The attraction is there, but so is uncertainty. When a blizzard strands them together, the chemistry sizzles, and things begin to change. This is a charming, steamy romance with a great couple and a happy ending. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
