The protagonist is so obnoxious it’s painful. I barely made it to chapter 2 before giving up. Don’t waste your money or time.

I am always curious about the behind the scenes stories of my favorite literary characters. I'm particularly curious how characters ended up where I discover them within the pages of the book. Since the residents of Lily Rock have become some of my favorite characters I was excited that 'Tis the Season reveals the beginnings of several of the main characters central The Lily Rock Mystery trilogy. Despite the short length of this novella, 'Tis the Season has plenty of intrigue, mystery, and as always quirky characters. I don't want to give away any spoilers by even given the briefest of summaries, but I promise that you won't be disappointed in this cozy little read.
